"The Rebel" Essay=]

You know drug addicts , just cant keep away from it? People say once, they start with one they wanna keep going, Well I'm not gonna talk about drugs or anything like that.I'm gonna talk about a poem called "The Rebel" by Mari Evans. The poem is not long and leave you with so many questions. This poem just dragged me in. Once I started to read it, I just couldn't stop,

The Rebel really put picture in your head.When i first read the Title, made me think of a trouble maker.I never though that the poem had to do something with death or a funeral. The poem really can drag you in. Putting a picture in your head really making you wonder. This poem made me ask question for example; was the character in the poem a trouble maker? or was he a playful person? and if so that's the case,is that kinda why so many people care for him? Here is a quote that will show you why it left me with so many questions."When i die I'm sure i will have a big funeral,"


The character also imagine, how so many people would be in his funeral. Also the character could picture with maybe people coming to his funeral with a whole of curiosity. Doesn't this make you picture, people coming to his funeral, They wanting to see the body and having many questions, "Curiosity seeker came to see if i'm really dead or just trying to make trouble"
The poem made me think of how my funeral gonna look like."The Rebel" is a very good poem. The poem makes it self seem very interesting in some sort of way.


Now you cant say you never had a single drug. Once you read this poem, you would keep reading it. Will make you addict.You probably be dragged into the poem.So how you express your self with this poem?
