NHD ... (DEBATE)

IT WAS I THINK FRIDAY .... i was getting my stuff ready when Mr. Brasof put his hand inside the plastic can and tooked out a peace of paper.. and read " Ishmael" ... then he went and put his hand inside inside the plastic can again and took out a second peace of paper " Jessie". I almost jumped and fell off my chair. Then i got all my paper nervesly i walked up to the things .. then all of the suddenly .. i got so nerves my legs fell asleep, my hands started to shake. Then Mr. Brasof as who was going first ... so he ask me to pick head or tells (quarter) ... " heads" I said .. then he said it was head so i told Ismael to go first. He read his essay. Then i was writing some notes .. but i was so nerves i was shaking when i was writing. Finally i was asked to ask questions and i said ask ( cross test it think it call) .. So i ask him some questions. Then it was my turn to read my essay ... i told who i was " Marie ... T. Mayer". Then i explain why slaver should not be abolished. I then started to be asked questions ..and so i answer them. Finally we had to write our rubato. That was the scary part i couldn't remember what Ismael had said. I had gotten so nerves that everything got clear out of my head, luckily i remember my name. Then Ishmael told me some stuff that i had stated and i told him some stuff that he had stated. Finally ... The judges.. where .. making there deacons .. Well they were Nickcol came and gave me and Ishmael a hug. That made me feel better. I was happy that people where supporting me then making me feel like i couldn't do it. I was happy that i did debated cause i felt ..proud of my self. Anyways ... The judges made told us there descion .. it was a "TIE" Alest no one lost. I would care if i lost .. cause i would be proud of myself ... that alest i did something and tired. But I'm glad that was over .... cause i was nerves all week ..wondering... when was i was going to go

ESL Class (alone)

Yesterday i went to the Library .. with Labria. We were so scared .... We went the library and told the lady at the front desk and told her our names .. and the we where there for the ESL. Then we went to the back of the library then some men ask us where we going then, we told the we needed to go to the ESL program ... he told us to go all the way down then turn left ... all the way down again then .. go to the "MEETING ROOM". Then we started to walk down .. when we say the sign "MEETING ROOM". I look at Labria and she looked at me ... I told her that i was scared but at the same time nerves and she told me she was feeling the same way. Then we open the door very slowly. Then we told the teacher .. then we were from Constitution High School and that we were Mr. Todd students. Finally we induce are self and then the teacher ask the student to introduce the self and tell us where were they from. Then the teacher .. told his student that they were going to listen to a tape about May Day in different countries. That when it got boring. Then finally we started to listen to other .. people (in the classroom) how they celebrate Mayday ... Then Older women say that In her country, People have 7 day vocation .. called The golden week. Then Finally at the end ... we started to tell them alil about are self ... Which was more interesting, then they started to ask questions and about Teenage "handshakes".. but other then that we started to like .. so i would love to go back=)I enjoyed it~!
